John began his insurance career in 2005 when he was the first person admitted into Amerisure’s Executive Training program. During this time he learned how the whole insurance process works by spending two years learning how the underwriting, claims, loss control and premium audit departments work together in order to put your insurance policy together. After completing the program, John spent time in the loss control department before deciding to move back to the St. Louis area to take a job as a commercial underwriter.
In 2009, John began his career at NEC Insurance. During this time, he has developed and lead the Loss Control Department as well as maintaining and developing client relationships.
In January of 2021, John was named President. John’s first ever job was helping his father do landscaping at the NEC office building so he is incredibly humbled to now be leading the agency. He looks forward to many more years of serving our customers and employees.

Linda joined NEC Insurance in 1983 as general manager. Her extensive insurance and marketing background allows her to tailor insurance programs to meet NEC’s customers’ needs. Linda also oversees NEC’s administrative functions, including customer service, accounting and marketing departments.
Linda began her career in the insurance industry in 1974 at the Amerisure Insurance Companies in the Commercial Property Underwriting department. In 1978 she joined Commercial Union and served as senior commercial lines underwriter.Linda attended the University of Missouri and earned her Certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1990. Linda resides in Wildwood, MO and when not at the office, she enjoys traveling and golf. She is also involved with many charities and community service projects.

Erika joined NEC Insurance in 2008 as Personal Lines Service Representative. In 2015 she was promoted to Personal Lines Manager overseeing NEC’s personal lines department.
Erika obtained her Associates Degree from Ozark Technical College and earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 2010.
In 2019 Erika earned the 2019 Safeco Award of Distinction.
Erika and her husband have 3 children and reside in Marthasville, MO.

John Altgilbers joined NEC Insurance in 2007 as a Commercial Insurance Associate specializing in Commercial Insurance. John has over 20 years’ experience in helping clients find the appropriate coverage for their businesses and at the most affordable price. He prides himself on being able to service his clients in all of their insurance needs from Commercial Policies, Workers Compensation, Health Insurance, and Life Insurance.
John currently holds a Certified Insurance Counselor “CIC” designation and a Certified Authority on Workers Compensation “CAWC” designation, which demonstrates his commitment to his profession and to his clients. John is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and a member of Mary Mother of the Church in South County.

Bill began his insurance career in 2003 as a sales agent for AAA Missouri. During his time with the Auto Club, he was able to gain valuable insurance experience, along with valuable field underwriting and customer service skills. In 2020, Bill moved to American National Insurance as a Multi-Line Agent working with clients on property & casualty, life, commercial & farm insurance. He then advanced to his position as Director of Business Support for American National providing training, business development, and client relationship management.
Bill graduated from the University of Missouri – St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) graduating with honors. Bill and his wife have 2 children and reside in Chesterfield, MO.
